« You cannot find supernatural without going through nature ». Quotation of Arnaud Desjardins ECOLOGICAL COMMITMENT « When the Human cuts the last tree, pollutes the last drop of water, kills the last animal and catches the last fish, so he will notice that money is not edible ». Indian prover
Since my fashion design studies in Paris, I am working with recycled material : - - in second life, like paragliding or parachute
- - vintage, using old not-worn collections, industrial scraps
- - or old-fashioned rolls of wholesalers to be destroyed
What are the reasons ? An ecological conviction : why to produce what already exists ? Because creativity is very stimulated... I love passionately to divert the materials from their origin, to test them, to study them, to adapt them, to make them match, to make them feminine or on the contrary to make them masculine... Each time I use a new material, I have new images, destinations and new stories to tell... THE PATH « The aim in life is personal development : to access a perfect achievement of our own nature, that is why we all are here ». Quotation of Oscar Wilde
I allow myself to be guided by the material, its colour, its texture, its origin. I study it carefully, I taste it until I tame it... and then I tell the story that it inspires me... In nature there is no beautiful or ugly flower. Each one of them has its utility : it exists for itself. The first clothe is a landscape, inspired from a trip sometimes imaginary, a tree, some water, flowers... It inspires me an emotion, an energy, which can be Zen for some, air light for others, urban etc. Then the master piece is born, all the elements are present and set the scene... Each element tells its own story, the flower on the lake at dawn, the tree in the water, the siren of the morning, the lotus, lightness... sense of humour... making the big jump with the wedding dress made of recycled paragliding or parachute fabric : the dress that cannot fly but it can swim... « A work of art is a creation spot seen through a temperament». Quotation of Émile Zola
